Last Month

Last month we had a wonderful Taste of Holland! There were traditional dishes and great company! Thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success. 

What's Happening This Month

February is Black History Month and we are proud to host a talk by Juran Greene on November 5 at 7:00pm here at the Multicultural Centre and a celebration on February 24th. Join us in learning more about North America’s slavery and Black culture. 

Upcoming Programs

Building Cultural Bridges has been a huge success, with the crowd growing every week! We love Lethbridge and its desire to learn and embrace other cultures! These free sessions are every Monday from 7:00 – 8:30pm at the Multicultural Centre.

Mark Holthe from LLP Stingam and Southern Alberta Ethnic Association are teaming up to hold free Immigration Workshops. Each week they will specialize in something different, as the past have been Parental and Spousal Sponsorship. The workshops will be as listed:
Feb 16th –  Permanent Residence through Express Entry
March 2nd –  Canadian Citizenship
March 16th –  Humanitarian and Compassionate Applications
April 6th – AB Immigrant Nominee Program
April 20th – Labor Market Impact Assessment

Spanish lessons, conversational and beginner, are in the works. If you are interested please contact the office!

February's Taste of

February is going to have an amazing Taste of because it is all about Colombia! There will be authentic cuisine, cultural performances, a cash or credit bar, dance party afterwards, and the opportunity to make new friends! Join us on February 23rd for a great night out!

Coming Up in March

March 3rd is our annual Masquerade Gala Fundraiser which will consist of a delicious meal by Bavaru Events and Catering, performances by the U of L Jazz Ensemble, MC’s from New West Theatre and a dance afterwards. By supporting our fundraiser you are helping us put on free events such as Building Cultural Bridges or our Immigration Workshops.

The Taste of Nicaragua is on March 23rd! There will not only be an authentic meal but also the Nicaraguan Dance Group and Nicaraguan Exhibits.


Membership Information

In order to be a part of our organization, membership applications can be filled out as an individual, which costs $25 a year, or a group, which costs $50 a year.
